This position is ideal for undergraduate students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in research. Successful applicants will work under the supervision of our lab director and research assistants. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: data collection, data entry, data analysis, contacting parents/schools, and conducting literature review for upcoming projects.

HKU SLR Lab 2024 Summer Camp Program (Opportunities for Secondary School Students!)
The Speech, Language and Reading Lab (SLR LAB) is now recruiting Secondary School students (in Form 4 or above) to join our 2024 Summer Camp Program! This 8-week program (starting from July 2024) is for those who are passionate about child development, and curious about how scientific research is conducted in tertiary institutions.
Qualities of applicants we are looking for:
- Interested in learning about scientific research in the area of child development
- Intend to pursue a degree in Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Computer Science, Speech and Hearing Sciences, Psychology, Linguistics, or related disciplines
- Eager to support special education
