YIP, Ho Yan Jojo
– The recipient of the Undergraduate Research Fellowship Programme (URFP) 2019-20
Jojo is a year-3 undergraduate student majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Hong Kong. Her project focuses on the superior pitch discrimination ability across language familiarity in children with High-Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This may give some insights for teachers, speech therapists and policy-makers about the medium of instruction to pupils with ASD.
